In this episode, Josh engages in conversation with Jerry Fanene, one of the visionary men behind IMHMN. Growing up as the eldest, Mr Fanene struggled with the many pressures placed to be the “role model” for his younger siblings. In 2010, Jerry’s mother passed away, which placed Jerry through many mental health battles… which led to a suicidal attempt. In this episode, Josh was fortunate enough to connect with the man himself, Omar El-Takrori. For many people, they would know him as “Omar El-Takrori” from Think Media. In this case, our host dives more into the background story behind Mr El-Takrori. Omar currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife,and little baby girl. He is a part of a team called “Think Media”, a media company providing tips and tricks for online video, founded by Sean Cannel. In 2013, our host was fortunate enough to play Harold Matthews for the Parramatta Eels, a team that had won the U’16s Harold Matthews Cup, followed by the National Championship a week later. For Josh, this was the start of his new journey of discovering the true beauty behind personal development and building resilience. His father would allow him to do whatever he wanted, he was given little to no rules. During his teens, he was pushed to go into boarding school, where he didn't find any interested. Looking for a means to seek freedom, Mr Heka as a youngin did the best he can to be kicked out of school. The result? He ended up looking towards drugs for freedom.
